For too long, the people of District 58 haven’t been heard because voters are rarely given a real choice on the ballot. When politicians run unopposed, they answer to the political machine in Little Rock, not to you. With no Democratic or Independent challenger on the ballot this election, the incumbent would have run completely uncontested. Without this campaign, there would be no choice, just the automatic continuation of the status quo. I am running because a two-way race means accountability. "Regnat Populus" means the people rule, but that only happens when you actually have a choice at the ballot box.
After homeschooling my own children for more than 10 years, I have now worked in child nutrition in Searcy Public schools for over 3 years.
I've served the Libertarian Party for over a decade in various roles including campaign management, staff, board members, activist, and occasionally a candidate.
